A graduated from Ecole Polytechnique (1992) and holder of a Ph. D. in Computational Linguistics from University of Paris VII, Jean Senellart began his career as a researcher and taught at Ecole Polytechnique and University of Marne la Vallée. In 1999, he joined Systran France as project leader before taking the leadership of R & D teams with whom he launched four generations of products. He developed several innovative technologies such as the «Intuitive Coding™» in 2005 allowing massive data coding, the post-publishing post (EPS) in 2008 to combine statistical and regulatory approaches and more recently «PNMT®» (Pure Neural®Machine Translation). In 2014, he was appointed Global CTO of the group and since July 2015, he also served as General Manager of Systran S.A.S. He has published more than 50 international scientific papers and regularly speaks in numerous conferences. He is also one of the founders of the open source framework, OpenNMT, developed in collaboration with Harvard NLP and which makes available to developers and researchers neural algorithms of natural language processing. This framework has received academic awards and brings together several hundred active members.
